From day one, our high school aged students are learning to sail on the "Big Boats." Our crew will be working primarily with a donated training vessel — the acclaimed racing yacht Tango, a Nelson Marek 40.
This very boat won its section in the 2018 Race to Mackinac and the 2018, 2019 & 2021 Queens Cup. Tango is great for kids because many of us know how to handle it like a big dinghy. Our crew keeps the lessons fun & safe. We want all of our young sailors to advance to their full potential and to have a life-long enjoyment of sailing.
